Stock Up On Gas

Ex/Mob has been taken to court again. The last two times I read an articles in the paper about Exxon/Mobile being sued for deviltry, the price of oil shot up like the space shuttle on steroids. The first was in Feb. 03, when the State of Alabama was awarded $3.1 billion, for Ex/Mob's failure to pay 900 million in royalties. Ex/Mob only admitted, eventually, to ripping Alabama off for $90 million, and appealed. The last I heard, the judgment was raised to $16 billion, due to more incriminating evidence coming out in the appeal (hiding evidence, etc.). A couple of weeks later, we invaded Iraq, and ...well you know what happened to oil prices. Then, in 05, around April, just when gas prices got down below 2 bucks, the City of New York sued Ex/Mob and 4 or 5 other oil co.s for not obeying a 20 year old court order to clean up the oil the spilled in the NYC drinking water. The next week gasoline prices landed on the moon. Now, last Friday, or maybe Saturday, an AP article, in the newspaper, stated Ex/Mob is in trouble for sabotaging() wells they can no longer extract oil cost effectively, for whatever reason . It is common for smaller oil co.s to come behind the big boys and negotiate  new leases with land owners, and see how much oil they can get out of a well. I suspect some of these wells have plenty left, Ex/Mob just lost their lease for some reason. I cannot imagine why,har har. Anyhow, it seems Ex/Mob has been leaving explosives, drill bits, and other debris stuffed down the well casings so no one else can get any oil from the wells after they leave, or are kicked off. I guess they have not been making enough money the last few years. My point is, I bet a paid vacation, against a day old donut hole, oil prices go up real soon. I hope I'm wrong, but I gotta go throw up, then, I am going to fill up my car with gas.
