Apparently, Barak Husseine Obama, as well as his wife, believe they are predestined to save America, if not the world. An interview with one of the soldiers defending Bastognne, in WWII's Battle of the Bulge, comes to mind. A reporter asked the soldier how he felt, when General George Patton's 3rd Army broke through the German lines to "save" the surrounded Americans. The soldier indignantly replied,"We didn't need saving!" That is how I feel about Obama. All the saving I need was done 2000 years ago by Jesus Christ. That is not to say the American military is not important, but I believe God is behind our military, as well, though there are many heroes within its ranks. The only thing we need the government to do is enforce the constitution, not add to it.
We need leaders who will defend us, yet allow us to utilize our resources, and succeed ,or fail, and learn from failure, on our own, or with the voluntary help of our fellow Americans. Though McCain does not entirely fit this description, he comes a lot closer than Obama. And McCain's choice for VP, Sarah Palin, fits the bill perfectly. I cannot remember being so inspired by a political speech, as today, when the Mrs. Palin, who apparently believes in just doing what is right, no matter how difficult it appears to be, accepted the Republican nomination for Vice President. She may not have loads of experience, but she is not running for President. If, at some point, she suddenly becomes President, she will, then, have infinitely more experience than 'Bark' Obama. Though most Americans are not sitting around waiting for anyone, as Michele Obama says America has been, for the Obama's(except for a bunch of freeloading bums wanting the government to take care of them so they will not have to work for a living) the speech I heard on Rush Limbaugh today was a breath gust of fresh air that brought tears to my eyes.
