If I see another American flag on a foreign car or truck (I do not care where it was assembled), I am going to get in front of it and throw up out my window (not). It makes me sick to realize the money taken out of Americans' pockets when I see another new foreign car being driven by an 'American'. I cringe every time I hear someone say they had trouble with a Dodge or Ford back in '78 and will never buy another American car. A liberal teacher, who is a friend of my dear, but liberal mother (also a teacher, retired) was complaining how he bought a Chrysler minivan, which happened to be the first year they, or anyone else, made a minivan, had some problems with it (understandable for a type of vehicle that did not exist a year before) and will never buy another American car as long as he lives. I had to leave the room, or he had to leave the country, and I did not want to embarrass my mother. Why are people so, who live in America, so unpatriotic. I would live at work before I would buy a foreign car, no matter where it was assembled (I am not into walking any more than I have to).

I am tired of hearing people say American cars are junk. Anyone who says so has not even looked at a new American car recently. Even with the strangling effect the union is having on American car companies, they have to deal with unpatriotic idiots spewing trash talk based on cars and trucks made twenty or thirty years ago. My aunt said that GM only makes crappy gas guzzling vehicles. She drives a Chevrolet Impala, which she says gets excellent mileage and has not had any trouble with it in the three years she has had it. That pretty much sums up the attitude of the 'American' consumer these days. I gotta go throw up. Where is a foreign car?
