we have not yet begun to win.

Even if it takes a million soldiers and ten thousand aircraft, there should not be one person or thing go across the border of Iraq or America without legal permission. The cost would be paid tenfold by the savings made by illegals not coming in. A wall would not be a bad idea. People worried about some obscure species of animals feeding patterns or our image around the world being damaged must not have any children who need a free country like America to live in.
It is mighty suspicious that the Fabulous Baker Committee indicated the trouble would be over if we negotiate with Iran (forget Syria) and get rid of Israel. That makes me believe, even more, that Iran is behind all the violence in the whole region. Keep Iran, and their support, out of Iraq, and the violence will end, as soon as the weapons and men, they are sending in, are taken care of. Iraq, much like an alcoholic, did not develop their problems overnight. So, much to the chagrin of the ever impatient American public, this iceberg of problems will not melt overday. The problems have been fruitful and multiplied for centuries to the point it took someone like S.H. and his henchmen to have anything resembling control over the country. Moreover, he could not have done that without the money he made on oil. Naturally, when his oily, iron foot  was blown off the Iraqi's necks, they went crazy. All the problems, that resulted in Hussiene(spelling) dictating every move made by Iraqi's, who were interested in staying alive, sprung up faster than oil related contractors did. This was because of the power vacuum, which resulted from the lack of a ruthless occupying army that many accused us of having anyway. To the short sited, the situation seemed worse than before we took down S. H., when the pile of problems was first exposed,,  Those with knowledge of  similar situations contained in any "real" history book (reconstruction after American civil war, for example) or twelve step program, see a very bright light at the end of a very dark tunnel (much of the darkness- compliments of 'American' media). This darkness is also being perpetuated by Iran, like Russia and China did in Korea and Vietnam. The Iranatollas, evidently, read their history, and figure to keep the violence going until we wimp out and "cut and run". However, Iran is only the biggest of many deep seated problems that must be addressed, before a democracy can thrive in Iraq, in my opinion. The remedy I see will be a process so strenuous and painful that it will be cherished and guarded with the very lives of every Sunni, Shiite, and Kurd,( who will then call themselves Iraqi's) or anyone else who participates in the completion of the installation of an oasis of freedom in a desert of tyrannical repression.
